Training Camp in the Mountains
The Wipptal Valley is an ideal training spot for orienteering squads preparing for competition in moderate to expert terrain with professional maps.
 
The courses lie at 1000 m to 1700 m above sea level, and provide a great challenge for both ambitious amateur orienteers and national squads. With Steinach am Brenner as a starting point, the orienteering courses can be easily reached within at most 15 minutes.
 
We work in close cooperation with the Innsbruck Orienteering Club, which is active throughout Tyrol. The club, led by Hans Georg Gratzer and his team, is known for its expertise in course design, event coordination, and hosting competitions. In addition to our cooperation with the orienteering club, we also work with select hotels which understand the special needs of teams in training.
